Happy Birthday

Get Into Uni is quite a young company and we all celebrated our third year of trading this year. Despite its relative youth, we have established a dedicated sharp business model. At the heart of Get Into Uni is our customers and there responses tell us that we are doing everything right. One of the most satisfying parts of our business is helping our customers. There are wider issues to address namely the changing our business to adapt to the scope of the admissions in the UK and USA, which will have an effect of our service to customers. We are here for our customers to provide the best possible service.

Grammar tip

In a sentence such as “Joe has a better car than I”, the word “than” is a conjunction, suggesting there’s a hidden “have” after the word “I”.

On the other hand if the sentence read “Joe has a better car than me”, the word “than” is translated into a preposition, which requires the object case. So this can argue if this is correct. Style guides recommend that the latter sentence is used when the situation is informal.

How many drafts should I write?

Every addition we will provide you with some tips and hits, please send any question to info@getintouni.com and we will aim to respond to your query.

There is no clear number of drafts that you should write. With every draft your writing will improve, you may find that within the first draft your writing will be long. When you finish your second draft the pages will condense as your writing will sharpen.
