Getting it right - Delivering Excellence

Welcome once again – our newsletter dedicated to
helping you.

Getting the right document can be a challenge as our previous newsletters have outlined. It is essential that here at Get Into Uni we can think creatively so that we can offer you the best service. 2007 is already shaping up to be a busy and challenging year.

We opened this year with a big bang by launching our new website. We have also changed the newsletter to a one page, compact format.

This will provide you a snapshot of all the great things we do as a company. So what is in this addition? We are going to talk about the New Year and provide some tips to getting your statement right.

Spotlight – getting it right

The ingredients to make your sample statement a success include powerful motivation, complete preparation and huge levels of confidence. When it comes to looking at the future there are three types of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen and those that ask – what has happened? To get into the university place of your choice it is essential that you inspire confidence in your writing, that you are personalised and consistent in your copywriting skills.

Turning to the perceived challenge of getting this right may sound simple but it is rarely the case. The comments that we receive from customers have been more than positive, and we are here to help you and show you the best way to get a place, in this addition we focus on the theme of your personal statement.

The theme

In all essays it is essential to have a theme. The result is to develop a story that will engage the admissions office straight away - which should be based around a story of your choice. Remember it is essential to think creatively and combine several good examples of why you wish to attend university.

After you have planned your theme you then need to edit the document to make sure your message gets across. Do not worry too much over finer details. A few rough sentences will enable you to start to draw your language. And finally, you should have your essay reviewed by a professional whose expertise is in grammar and English.

Happy New Year

Happy new year to all our suppliers and customers from the Get Into Uni team.
